Approaching Mount Riley\'s false summit
Approaching the false summit during a southwest route ascent of Mount Riley (elev. 5,905 ft.) in southwestern New Mexico. The tree to the right marks the false summit; the actual summit, visible in the center, is an additional 300+ feet elevation gain. Photo taken 12/28/07.
