Approaching the Queen\'s Mine...
Approaching the Queen's Mine route, in full winter conditions. The standard route ascends to the saddle just left of the picture at the end of the main ridge. Our route followed the spur ridge from right to left up to the middle of the main ridgeline at 11000ft. Our last glimpse of blue sky. Nov 12th, 2004.
