Overview The Cheam Range contains eight peaks crammed into 10 kilometers. There are many opportunuties for summer mountaineering in the range but the detestable rock makes for serious objective hazard. However, when the rock is frozen together in the winter the area can become a climbing mecca with its sheer mountain face dropping thousands of feet to the northern and eastern sides of the range.
Getting There All the peaks in the range can be climbed in a day from the nearest logging road. West ern and Southern routes are ussually reached from chipmunk and Airplane creeks wile eastern and Northen routes are reached from Highway #1 or Jones (wahleach) Lake.
Red Tape Because the mountains are mainly accessed by logging roads, gates can be locked or roads can be snowed in early in the season.External LinksAdd External Links text here.
