OverviewPieniny is sometimes called "The smallest mountains in the World". The most famous peak is Trzy Korony (Three Crowns). There is spectacular Gorge of River Dunajec. Trzy Korony aren`t highest peak of these mountains. Highest is Wysoka (High) - 1052 m, but the most interesting and beauty is Trzy Korony area. Pieniny are built of limestones with sandstones. Most curious places are Sokolica, Trzy Korony, Homole.Getting ThereAccess from Polish side is easy by road No 969 from Nowy Sącz - (NE) or Nowy Targ - W. On the Slovakian side travel from Stara Lubovna and turn in Hniezdne to road No 543 to Cerveny Klastor
