Approach to Sunshine Rapid, Royal Gorge, Arkansas River Colorado. A few seconds after this photo was taken, my side of the raft(left front) slid into the hole and I was pulled in. I faired far better than the person the day before that drowned.

Voted 10/10 | I rafted the Royal Gorge last August and hadn't heard about a person who drowned there in 2008 (only some who drowned upriver in 2008).
