| We drove up as far as possible from the village and had to leave the car as the track got too rough (water had left deep ravines in the now-dry mud). We had thought of walking up from the village, but as we were carrying but with Cotiella down for the next day we wanted to conserve energy. We were carrying kit for the night in the Armeña hut we decided to make the first part shorter. The hut was very cosy (our companions for the night a little less perfect, but...). Cotiella was a 100% memorable day. The area is magical. |
