| The plan was get onto Infiernos from the Collado de Pondillos, (from Casa de Piedra) but it was much looser ground than we'd (he'd) expected, so we stayed with Arnales as our peak for the day. I remember a fairly loose crest that got progressively worse for someone (me) without much experience. We'd done Garmo Negro y the Arguales/Aguas crest a few days before, plus Gran Facha, and we were pretty knackered by now, but it was a good day out all the same and perfect weather. | ||

| From collado between Infiernos and Arnales. Nice little climb after Infiernos traverse with Ol. We went down east face of central Infierno before going up again on easy ground. I also climbed Arnales sur. | |

| Beautiful day reaching four 3000s The weather was sunny We first go up to Infierno Oriental, Central and by the Marmolera to the Occidental. Going down we did this "little" summit (Arnales) by the normal route. | |

| It was an important day with a lot of snow in winter conditions to the Col of Pondiellos and Brecha Arnales. The final ridge without snow was easy (but a little exposed). we had a lot of fog and "no views" until the last ridge. In the ridge the spectacullar landscape was wonderful surroundig of white peaks. A friend of mine took my GPS to confirmate the less height of summit south. | |
