Around The False Summit

To get around the false summit on the standard route of Helena Peak you need to find the ridge ledge system through the cliffs. The dead snag in front of Beau marks the correct place to find the ledge which leads around the corner. The western cliff face of Helena Peak seen from the vicinity of the mines.
