Around this gully the Climbers Trail splits and becomes more difficult to follow. Some trails go up the scree filled gully past the bushes in the center, and one heads to the base of the ridge on the left. We followed that one and when it seemingly splintered at the base of the rocks, we decided to take a sporty approach and scramble up the ridge. By the time we reached the flat ledge just left of the summit, we were well beyond Class 3 terrain and chose not to go further. After descending a very sketchy crack on the far side of the ridge, we decided to call it a day. I think the actual route is up the gully on the far side of that ridge. Does anyone know more? A very fun place to play. Taken July 31, 2005.
