Overall best results

The Franco-Italian "Team Millet-Savoie-Mont Blanc" confirmed their role of favorite by beating the Swiss "Swiss Team 6" by more than 9 minutes. "Swiss Team 7" was a big favorite, second in 2004, but a competitor abandoned on the Col de Riedmatten. Despite capricious weather, the patrol composed of the Frenchmen Stéphane Brosse and Patrick Blanc, and the Italian Guido Giacomelli improved the 2004 record by 12 minutes and 54 seconds.

some nice pictures of this sports event! You could write some introducing words what an event this is, if you took part yourself, aboout the track, the altitude difference and the incredible times of the winner etc. And you could attach it to the Pennine Alps page
- edit: you already did - thank you! -

I stand to be corrected but from what I recall the Patrouille des Glaciers is held every other year that if correct you may want to mention.

Nice set of pictures.
