Ascending Amphu Labtsa
Ascending the ice gully about midway up the south side of the pass.
Elevation here is around 18,500', with a bit more than 500 feet to go.
Note second climber in background.

Thanks dmiki. Yes, digging through the archives from my two trips there. In the last few months I've received a couple requests for more photos of the pass. I recently bought a new scanner and playing with that, so it works out.

I'm going to create an album once I'm done done scanning a couple more shots, so if you have some recent ones to add that would be great.

Right on Nelson, thats one hell of a photo. Ice gullies are beautiful places to be in the mountains. Thanks for sharing some of that beauty with us -TyeDyeTwins-
