Ascending Avalanche Debris
The lower portion of the Mt Baring trail can be brushy, so we took advantage of a gully that had been cleared by an avalanche a couple of weeks before when the temperatures spiked to near 90 deg. This is the yellow track on our route map. May 31, 2008
