Ascent Route

This picture, taken right beneath the summit of Cima di Fojorina shows almost the complete ascent route. Bogno is the top right one of the villages in the bottom left of the picture. From there the route follows the forest almost all the way up until it reaches Alpe Cottino and Passo San Lucio, both in the centere of the picture. From there a path leads to Bocchetta San Bernado (straight down in the picture but just outside), before leading up through the dwarf pines to Boccheta di Fojorina (to the left of the rocky sections in the foreground. From there it heads up through dwarf pines and across meadows to the summit. May 30th 2011
