Askole Village (3048m), gateway to Baltoro Glacier, Karakoram, Baltistan

Askole (3048m), Pakistan’s highest and most remote village, the last human settlement before march up to Baltoro Glacier to Concordia. Askole is the gateway to many adventurous treks that lead over famous glaciers, like Baltoro Glacier, Biafo Glacier, and to the base of numerous high peaks of K2, Gasherbrum group, Broad Peak, Masherbrum and Great Trango Towers.
