Autumn is a Beautiful Time of Year to Climb on Devils Tower. After Labor Day, the crowds are gone, the weather remains warm and stable and the Tower feels like a Private Facility. October is a transitional month, with the snow and cold coming at any time. However even with cooler temperatures the rock remains warm, from the summer's heat, and when climbing You are Truly touching stored Sunshine.
