Avalanche under Willard Peak

[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Avalanche under Willard Peak
Cutler Basin is notorious for being the site of several avalanche fatalities. Here is a medium-sized (by the standards of this half-mile-wide starting zone), but not very deep, day-old double-crown natural wind slab avalanche, seen Feb 28, 2009.
