The trail from Echo Park to Mitten Park is crawling with lizards -- like this one, which is (I believe) a Side-splotted lizard. Feel free to correct me. Notice by the way that it is regrowing its tail. So that old lizard trick does work. By the way, the maps don't show the trail here, and the topo looks like the cliff blocks any travel. But there is indeed an easy-to-follow trail that climbs up to the base of the cliff, working around the various rocks and ledges. Go to campsite 10 in Echo Park, beneath the rock art, and cross the grassy field downstream. The trail will appear in due course. May 2011. Comments[ Post a Comment ]
