2 hikes on Big Rock Ridge

Actually I go back to Big Rock Ridge almost every week. It's my favorite local place to hike. Only about 12 minutes up Hwy. 101 with big open grassy slopes on the south side and forested slopes on the north side. The 2nd highest peak in Marin County north of the Golden Gate (after Mt. Tamalpais, 2,571') with no State Park restrictions and a fire road that runs along the top to the high point of 1,887'.
