Back toward White Rock Lakes

Heading up toward Spire Pass, we stop on the Dana Glacier to look back at snow-covered White Rock Lakes. Above the right-hand lake is the pass to the upper South Cascade Glacier. The Ptarmigan Traverse continues to Dome Peak, involving two more major glaciers, but our party headed out from here, descending some minor glacier, meadows and trails.
