Bad weather approaching that foiled my attempt of summiting Mt. Arthur as well. I quickly descended off the ridge and endured a brief light rain. Lightning could be heard off in the plains to the east a little later. Remember, the mountain (in this case Mt. Arthur) will be there tomorrow, you may not be if you tempt inclement weather.
