Notch Trail  Sucess!

Had a perfect day for hiking through a canyon on the Notch Trail with my wife. The only place we have seen like this is Toadstool Geologic Park in NW Nebraska.

Red Shirt Table  Sucess!

Can't seem to find a page on here for the Badlands National Park highpoint, Red Shirt Table (3340+ft), so I'll sign here. Used the topo here to find it http://www.peakbagger.com/peak.aspx?pid=6249. Yay for my 9th National Park highpoint!

Highpointing trip in 2012. I could spend a couple of years hiking around this place. Cool feelings...

wow!  Sucess!

Weather in June was spectacular! Perfectly warm, and not too many bugs. I hope to visit often that time of year in the future...

Hiking, Scrambling  Sucess!

It was 105 degrees when we got here so we limited our hiking to the shaded side of the mounds of dirt ot whatever they call them here. My son and I scrambled one of mounds with a couple of sticks in our hands that we used like ice axes.

Bison hiking  Sucess!

This was my 3rd or 4th time there, hiked all the established trails and also a few days of hiking in the Sage Creek campground area. Saw a herd of about 100 bison there one morning.
