Badlands Peak
Seen from Zabriskie Point, where it is easy to study the peak and plan possible routes. Gower Gulch is the large wash below.

Badlands Peak is the dark peak on the right. The lower, dark-topped formation on the left is a major waypoint for routes approaching Badlands Peak directly. Go either over or around that formation to reach the ridges and washes beyond it. Once you're out there, you're in terrain that almost nobody else travels or sees.

Enlarging the picture makes it easier to see the details and colors.
