Balanced Boulder
I really don't know what keeps this very interesting boulder in place, but it was solid and immobile. For reference, it's 12 to 14 feet tall. Photo taken in the Grand Gulch Primitive Area.

Yes, we were all around it taking photos. I liked this one better than the ones with people in them, though. It looks precarious from every side, but was completely immobile. It looked as if it had been there long enough for some noticeable erosion to take place where it made contact with the ground.
