Bald Mountain as it appears...
Bald Mountain as it appears from near the high point of Wasatch County, which is on a contour located on the southwest side of Murdock Mtn. Highway 150 is between where I took this picture and Bald Mountain.

the patches of green on the mountainside would be interesting to see up close - cool patterns in the contrast between rock and vegetation

The green patches are actually evergreens of about ten feet high.
