Sarah ..

Nice page and beautiful mountain and scenery! I keep hearing
about how people report seeing moose on the north slopes of
Utah's Uintas. My brother and I hiked to the summit of Kings
Peak in 1982, and we didn't see any moose on our hike, but
apparently HEARD one (at night) that kept us awake. So, my
assumsion is that moose must frequent this area. Take care!!

P.S. - I wonder if the moose ever kill the sheep. You don't
want to get in the way of a "freaked-out" moose. Cheers!

Yeah, me and King's Peak have a rematch. During the backpack trip (that put me on the summit of Bald Mountain B) we attempted Kings Peak but were turned around by weather (morning thunderstorms.) -Sarah
