| Can't even count how many times I have skied, hiked, and mountain biked(UP and DOWN) on this mountain. Learned how to ski here when I was a boy growing up in Ketchum(late seventies). | |

| Bald Mountain Trail...recovery hike from climbing Grays Peak the day before. Beautiful day and obviously a local favorite. Took the chairlift and gondola down. Hey...i've gone down on foot many times before...just with boards strapped to my feet. The climb to the summit this time allows me to consider this one finally "bagged." | |

| It's a strange experience walking up this mountain. You can hear garbage trucks, car horns and construction from the valley nearly half way to the top. Great views though. | |

| I basically grew up on this mountain. First skiing then hiking it. I have summited Baldy in ever month of the year and have been hiking it for the past 5. I have been and almost won 2 of the 3 annual races held here every year. | |
