The trail up from the Illinois River towards the summit of Bald Mountain was damaged during the 2002 Biscuit Fire. It has not been maintained and the trail is not easy to follow. There are a fews cairns to mark your way and someone put surveyors flagging tape along the way. The flagging material kept me near the trail anyway. 3 November 2007 Comments |  Image Data
