| After few attempts earlier this year finally reached the top with Igor (Igi). Misleaded the route in the fog and ended up just below the summit of Wyzni Barani Zwornik (2500 m). Got back to the base of West face and hiked up by the normal route. Very bad visibility (fog), heavy rain showers, nasty snow in the couloirs, wet rocks on the ridge. | |

| Wonderful trip in excellent weather, we started about 6am from Smokovec...leaving skis just above Baranie Sedlo Pass and then by the ridge to the summit (one risky traverse of steep, snowy couloir)...breathtaking High Tatra panorama from the top . After descent to the saddle we walked down to wide snow slopes and began to ski down the whole length of the valley to Smokovec . What a gorgeous day it was ! | |

| In the fog it was difficult to find the Baranie sedlo, although we had crossed it few months before in winter conditions. At that time we abandoned the summit attemp due to deep snow. From the Baranie sedlo I prefer the ridge variant. | |

| Wonderful ascent ,brilliant golden morning at Zelene Pleso ...unfortunately rather foggy on the summit (reached at 10:28 am) a bit problematic in a steep and narrow couloir under Barania Pass and a few moments of disorientation on the ridge...descent the same way ,great impressions ! | |
