Barclay Creek Valley to the...
Barclay Creek Valley to the WNW from the summit of Mt. Baring on Aug. 10, 1997. You can see the road on the left side of the valley. The drivable road ends just about at the center of the picture. To find the climber's path to the summit, do not hike up the Barclay Lake Trail. Instead, walk up the overgrown road continuance from the trailhead for a hundred yards or so. The path then leaves the road (look for a cairn or flagging) and ascends quite steeply up to the crest of the ridge seen here at left.

"This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war."   --Marv, Sin City
