| We did not make the climb we wanted, so one the way home we did Barlow Point to at least get some views for the way home. | |

| Did this one with Sarah. It was a great excuse to go for a motorcycle ride. There was a lot of snow on the ground even at the trail head. | |

| Failed on another mountain so we settle for this mountain as a consolation prize. Not Vesper, Del Campo or Glacier Peak, but much better than the TV, or nothing. THe trail hit a good viewpoint, but we also hit another forested rock north of the trail just to make sure we hit the true summit. No view there though. | |

| Finding the Trailhead is more challenging than the climb. Its unmarked in the parking lot across from the Monte Cristo entrance. I will say that there is one spot shortly into the hike where you can do some minor rock climbing which is good for beginners and young kids. | |

| Pretty much switchbacks through a mossy forest, with a decent elevation gain for only 1.2 miles. It was mixed snow today, so visibilty was limited, but you could tell that on a clear day the views would be pretty sweet. Good one to take the other half for a picnic, summit is pretty flat. You can see 4 structural bearing points of the old fire tower... nothin to get excited about though. I'd maybe do it again on a clear day if I was in the area and wanted to burn an hour... | |

| My wife and I wanted to take a short hike in the Cascades, before the snow level drops to low elevations. Originally intending only to drive to the entrance of the Monte Cristo parking lot, we stumbled upon this nice, short hike across the road. Great views from the summit. | |
