When we passed through this gorge, the athmosphere reminded the pictures of Olivier Föllmi (one of the best French photographer of the Himalaya, in particular Zanskar) in his book "Le Fleuve gelé" (the Frozen River). The late afternoon light was just fantastic!

I'm not an ice climber (more a kind of alpin climber in remote ranges), but I guess the slope of the waterfall was not sufficient to allow good ice climbing.

Anyway, the place was really fantastic!
