Bastille Crack

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Bastille Crack
Leading pitch 1 of Bastille Crack. The big thin flake on the right is pretty exciting when you grab hold of it (and it flexes; May 6, 2006).

Nice one! I have seen pictures of people stemming between the crack on the left and the flake, is that the way to go so that you don't pull on the flake?

Thanks Haydar.

I tried avoiding the flake altogether (though I did put in a shi..y 2 nuts behind it) opting instead to step left to the crack down low (crux?) and then never touch it again. The crack is easy to jam (fingers to thin hands with good incuts for feet).
