Nice page, but try to add a photo or a map.

There is a topozone map, were you talking about something else?

I added a signature photo but was not too thrilled about the quality. Only one I have that shows as much of the mountain as I could get.

I am sorry about my incorrectness in rating your Battle Ax page. I did not, at first, see the map. Thank you.

Nicely done. Since the jeep road is a factor, a phot or two would be a good idea for people to determine how they will approach the mountain.

Battle Ax? That name was obviously a name given to some logger's wife. Today we say, "my old lady" but in olden times they used to refer to their sweet wife as "the old battle ax". Perhaps that will be helpful but as you can tell, I have too much time to play with here at work today. BTW, heckofa nice page.

After researching this peak for the Oregon GPPs I now find there was a page for it all along on SP. Battle Ax is the 4th-most prominent peak in Marion County at 998P. For the top ten see my vote post on the Rocky Top page.

What! You mean you don't have my mountain pages memorized? That hurts, man. Down to the bone.

(Thanks for the info, from that list looks like some factoids I can add to a few of my pages.)

It hurts like a battle ax slicing down to the bone. What are state rivals for?

My Battle Ax will chop your Sturgeon Fin into pieces and put them into a Coffin. Then my Hood will cover up your Sleeping Beauty. My Bachelor and Carpenter will also beat up your Baker. And if you had a mountain named Candlestick Maker, then they'd beat him up too. Your Jack has more fingers than mine though. But that doesn't Matterhorn. Every Tom Dick and Harry knows we've got you in our Gunsight.
