BC - a beautiful place!
There are two base camp spots below Koskulak's western slopes. The one on the photo, which is in a great location. Lots of sun, meadows and a small river. The other one is a bit closer to the peak, but it's on a moraine and it's cold and quite miserable. The peak on the left is Muztagh Ata and it's SW slopes.

It was great to arrive here to enjoy the silence after some time in the busy BC of Muztagh Ata.

So, you're several meters to the
NORTH of Pakistan?? What's the
weather like out there? Are they
having their SUMMER SEASON now???
Looks like you have your CHOICE
of peaks. Don't you feel ... a
little bit small? Jag tackar!!!

Did that TYPHOON affect this area?
Strong wind ... or anything. Awesome.

A day's travel from the Pakistani border. This shot is from the summer season in July. Now it's bitterly cold in the area.
The typhoon didn't hit the area as far as I know.
I always feel small when on the big peaks, that's one of the reasons I go there. It's a great feeling.
