bear on the backside

I dropped off the east ridge of White Baldy onto the south side to avoid some obstacles, and caught movement in the corner of my eye. To my amazement, down out of the notch by which I planned to regain the ridge just west of the summit, came this bear, and I got this picture as it lumbered across below me.
