Bears Ears from the Yampa...

Bears Ears from the Yampa River Valley. Not a mountain climbing picture, for sure. I add this picture to the page because you can only see the namesake Bears Ears shape from the south and from a long distance from the mountain. The story behind the naming of the two peaks is not apparent close up and when climbing the peak.

It appears that some people want to see the "ears", so I took this photo from afar, and added it here.
