Hate to admit it, but this is the only peak I have posted that I haven't summited. Climbed over into Black Canyon from the Rock Creek drainage via Spirit Mtn in Nov. Planned to climb Beartooth Mtn it the morning, but heavy snow overnight got me paranoid that I would not be able to get my truck back down the Rock Creek road until next spring. So I went back down - was actually the second time I had intented to climb this peak. On the first attempt (last January) I wisely turned around due to extreme avalanche danger. May just have to break down eventually and give it a go during the summer months!
Wanted to claim it before somebody else got to it. Hated to see all my pics go to waste!
