This well-grown (circa 10 cm long) specimen of stag beetle (Lucanus cervus) was resting on Babás-szerkövek rock formation after a rain.

1) Natural :)
2) It depends where and when you go. On this hike we met 2 male and 2 female within a couple of 100 meters and we weren't actually looking for them.
