Beautiful Even in Death
A Tiger Swallowtail wing in Buck Hollow. For some reason, the sight of a dead butterfly always saddens me in a way I can't quite explain. Perhaps it is the vibrant color and energy so utterly replaced by the stillness and quiet of death.

than females.
