| I think I got to the top. Clouds moved in, it started snowing, and rather than continue along the ridge, I retraced my steps back to beaver meadows. Great trip-- my first hike in RMNP. | |

| It was a heavy snow year because there was a significant amount of snow higher up on the mountain. The mountain is actually a highpoint on a ridge branching out from Trail Ridge Road. | |

| This is an infrequently visited summit, so if you want to avoid the crowds in The Park this might be the summit for you. Total ascents = 3 ... twice from the Windy Gulch Trail via the south slopes, and once from Trail Ridge Road via Tombstone Ridge on the way to Upper Beaver Meadows. | |

| Hiked the East Slope route from Upper Beaver Meadows Trailhead. It rained almost the entire time, but was enjoyable nonetheless. | |
