| I was completely alone all day. When I came back at the car, and turn on the radio I had difficulties in understanding what happened. When you spend a whole day in such a heaven, coming back on (hell) earth is very hard. In that tragical day, it was more than terrible. | |

| After a week of rain this was the first day of our Valle d'Aosta vacation on which we actually could dare to climb a summit. Decided us on Becca d'Aver and were rewarded with a nice Matterhorn, Breithorn and Emilius view. Everything else decided to hide behind the clouds. Have a Rutor picture which I don't dare to post here - just too much mist in between. Did the traverse to Cima Longhede which has a nicely exposed summit (south face). Met no people the whole day | |
