All is fair in love and war: Rosalia longicorn (Rosalia alpina) - one of the Carpathians' finest beetles, which inhabits beech woodland and wears camouflage colours. According to Encyclopaedia Britannica, in 2007, ten primeval beech forests in the Carpathians were designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
