Beginning the lead of pitch 4...
Beginning the lead of pitch 4 of Zebra-Zion. Pitch starts with a 8-10 foot 5.9 traverse. There's a thin finger crack (small nuts for pro) behind a steep flake. You then do a mantle move and start cranking up the "flake" the pitch is famous for. It feels steeper than this photo suggests - when you're there anyway (March 5, 2005).
