| This is my default hike when I want to do something quick, easy and close in North County, been to the top about 20 times. Nice views of Lake Hodges and the 15 Freeway and the rest of the sprawl and smog of San Diego county. Nice and easy grade if you want to run down from the summit. | |

| Very odd hike up the peak after the fires hit the area. It was nice to progressively see the vegetation come back from down under, however. I've hiked to the peninsula from Lake Hodges then up this mountain on this date.. Awesome adventure. | ||

| Surprisingly long hike to a relatively low peak. Loved the Felicita Creek area with actual flowing water! RT in a shade over 2 hours to greet the sunrise. Great way to start the day! | |

| Nice early morning climb. Full moon at the trailhead, no cars in the parking lot. Excellent, clear day, views forever. Passed by many bikes on the return, parking lot full of bikers. Easy, rewarding hike. | |
