Besso SW-ridge route

Left is the route we took up, starting from the gully up to the ridge. Right is the way down. The route up is obvious, one just follows the ridge, climbing as many gendarmes a possible or going round them.
The route down is less obvious and a good study before starting from below is wise. If the weather gets worse, it could be hard to find the right way down.
The blue dots indicate where the normal SW-ridge approximately starts, a bit higher up on the ridge.
