Carpathian Bicaz gorge (Rom:Cheile Bicazului, Hun:Bekas szoros) is considered along with Verdon river canyon as the deepest one in Europe.

	Hasn't voted	Such questions are always arguable and go around defining everything everywhere, to be honest, though so fashionable nowadays, being a technocrat doesn't impress me at all...so I really don't care :) Yeah, Tara canyon is on my list of closest travel targets! Bicaz is gorgeous, I wish to visit it some day late autumn time. Tomek
