Big Baldy's SW ridge

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Big Baldy\'s SW ridge
It doesn't appear steep but the route up the SW ridge gains 2000 feet in less than a mile. A decent trail goes up the ridge to the summit and you can do a great loop hike by exiting via Battle Creek or come back via Dry Canyon. If you plan on returning back down the SW ridge itself, trekking poles are a great aid.
