Big Cottonwood Creek was just starting to flow in late March 2006. This is taken after having parked at the s-curve and walking a few minutes on the trail to Lake Blanche. The orange reflected off the creek is from the walls north across the canyon who are, you guessed it, orange. Fuji Velvia.

Orange & Blue

I love it. The orange and blue hues are so soft and subtle. They add the perfect feeling to the photo.
