| Hiked this one with Dennis Poulin and Ken Jones to complete the list of 74 Oregon 2000-foot+ prominences. Dennis had already completed the list on this same peak, and Ken would subsequently complete the list on Aneroid Mountain in the Wallowas. All three of us were there for that completion as well. The bushwhack was made both better and worse by the snow, but all in all I thought the peak was not as onerous as I had feared. Beautiful day, but within a few more days the spring snows started in the Pacific Northwest, largely making up for a very dry winter. | |

| Hiked with Ken and SP'er rfbolton. Tough day at 13 hours. Snow was a problem. The dead burned brush was not as bad as 4 years ago. Navigation is essential. Congratulations Bob for completing the OR P2k's. | |
