Bike Ride  Sucess!

The day prior I tried to ride up and get both summits but took a switchback too early, soon finding myself way off route. Returned the next day and successfully got both summits because I really wanted this one over with.

Big Foot  Sucess!

Made quick work of this one on the bike. Be sure to take the second hard left turn after the main road levels off (they are only a few hundred yards apart). Took the time to get a good GPS reading from each summit. Elevation on South Summit stabilized at 3079', and the North at 3073'. I had great satellite coverage, so I'm fairly confident the south is higher. Good views from South Summit, as well as from several spots along the road. Taking roads to the top of the North Summit is not too bad if you're traveling by bike.

Update: Took the bike up Whacme Mountain two days later - using similar methods, during similar atmospheric conditions, the GPS yielded 3103' on the summit. GPS was locked solid on 10 satellites for each reading, with a RAIM predicted error margin of 9'. I can say with a high degree of certainty that Whacme Mountain is the high point on the ridge.

Big Foot  Sucess!

We started out in the rain but that soon let up. There was low snow and it was at least ten feet deep at the summit but that was the year we had a lot of low elevation snow. This was one that was good to get out of the way.

A Big Foot, But No Santa  Sucess!

It was Christmas Eve Day. Edward and I summited both the northern contour and southern contour. We did not see any Santa, elves, or reindeer, but we certainly saw more of Big Foot (Hill) than we ever care to repeat! Heavy wind and rain at the summits made them even less enjoyable, and outward views were greatly disrupted.
